Learn more →Inglewood's silver maples and tulip poplars grew up fast after the tornado years, and many are now bigger than the lots they stand on. We keep them safe over Riverside Village and Rosebank.
Serving Inglewood through our Nashville crew, with the same expert arborists, the same standards, and 24/7 storm availability.
Inglewood's canopy tells its recovery story. Where storms and time took the old oaks, silver maples and tulip poplars filled the gaps, fast growing species that reach full size in decades rather than a century. On the small lots around Riverside Village and Rosebank, those trees now stand closer to rooflines than anyone planned, many carrying the co-dominant trunks that split first in wind.

Inglewood’s canopy grew back fast after the storms that reshaped it, and fast is the problem. Silver maples and tulip poplars dominate the recovery canopy, both quick to reach size and both prone to structural faults, from the soft, decay prone wood of the maples to the co-dominant trunks that tulip poplars love to build. On Inglewood’s older small lots, a tree with a hidden fault is never far from a roof. Telling a maple that needs a cable and a crown reduction from one that needs to come down is exactly the judgment call that separates an arborist from a crew with saws.
That is why an experienced arborist conducts every estimate in Inglewood. We evaluate structure, decay, and the targets below, spec the work to ANSI A300 industry standards, and hand you a written plan before any work is scheduled. A Certificate of Insurance is emailed before work begins.
Silver maple failure is Inglewood’s most common emergency call. These maples grow fast, hollow early, and hold together right up until a summer thunderstorm finds the weak union. On the small lots around Riverside Village, a failed leader rarely lands in open grass. We inspect for included bark, cavities, and old storm wounds, and we are honest about which maples are worth keeping.
Co-dominant tulip poplars are the classic Inglewood failure in the making. Two trunks of equal size squeeze bark into the union between them, and the connection gets weaker every year the tree gets taller. Caught early, a reduction cut or a cable system can manage the risk. Caught late, the split takes half the tree and whatever sits below it.
Tight access on older lots shapes every job here. Inglewood’s small lots, mature plantings, and narrow drives around Rosebank mean most removals are rigging jobs, lowered piece by piece over houses and fences rather than felled. That takes more time and more skill, and it is why an itemized written estimate matters before anyone starts.
