One Expert Arborist Standard, Every City We Serve

Tree care should be led by people who actually know trees. That is the standard behind The Certified Arborist Tree Service in every market we serve.

Every tree service should have an ISA Certified Arborist.

Founded in Nashville in 2010 on that idea, and it still runs the brand today. Most tree services don't have one on staff. We only work with and promote the ones that do.

What an ISA Certified Arborist Is

The credential comes from the International Society of Arboriculture, not a weekend course. Earning it takes verified field experience, a proctored exam covering tree biology, diagnosis, and safe technique, and ongoing continuing education to keep it active. It is the baseline we require before a tree service can carry our name.

Board Certified Master Arborist, the Top of the Ladder

Board Certified Master Arborist sits above the standard credential, ISA's highest arboriculture certification. Fewer than 2% of ISA Certified Arborists ever earn it. When a market has one on the team, it is a marker of depth we look for, not a requirement we drop the standard to meet.

The standard

Five checks before any crew carries this name.

Every crew passes the same gate before it works under The Certified Arborist Tree Service, and has to keep passing it to stay. Crews are trained to ANSI A300 standards.

  1. An ISA Certified Arborist on staff

Verified through the ISA directory, not taken on anyone's word.

  2. The insurance that matters

Coverage built for tree work, the kind that protects every inch of your property.

  3. A clean record

Reputation checked. A history of unresolved complaints is a no.

  4. References that hold up

    Real customers, real jobs, checked.

  5. Capacity to show up

They answer when you call. A standard nobody picks up the phone for is not a standard.
