Tree Removal
Whether a tree is damaged, dead, or a safety hazard, our crews ensure safe and efficient removal with minimal disruption to your property.
Learn more →Joelton sits up on the Highland Rim, where cedar and upland oak grow in thin ridge soil and properties run to acres. We treat the drive out as part of the job.
Serving Joelton through our Nashville crew, with the same expert arborists, the same standards, and 24/7 storm availability.
Joelton's canopy belongs to the Highland Rim: eastern redcedar filling the old fields and upland oaks holding the ridge lines, all of it rooted in thin rocky soil that drains fast and anchors shallow. Lots run to acreage, homes sit on wells and septic systems, and the crew is a real drive away, which is why we schedule Joelton work with the distance built in rather than pretending it is around the corner.

Joelton’s trees grow on the Highland Rim’s terms. Ridge soil up here is thin and rocky, so the upland oaks anchor shallow and the cedar that fills every old field carries wind loads its roots were never built for. Add acreage lots where the problem tree may be a five minute walk from the house, and wells and septic systems threaded through the same ground the roots use, and tree decisions in Joelton carry consequences that a quick quote from the road cannot see.
An experienced arborist conducts every estimate here, walks the property, and weighs the tree against the well house, the drain field, and the access route before recommending anything. Work is specced to ANSI A300 industry standards, the plan and the price come in writing before anything is scheduled, and a Certificate of Insurance is emailed before work begins.
Thin ridge soil gives Highland Rim oaks less anchor than their size suggests. Upland white oaks that look immovable are often rooted in inches of soil over rock, and long wet spells loosen that grip. Fresh lean, cracked ground behind the trunk, or lifted roots after a storm are all reasons to call before the next front arrives, not after it.
Cedar takeover and bagworm go together up here. Eastern redcedar fills every unmowed field and fence line, and bagworm loads follow, stripping the cedars and spreading to plantings near the house. Thinning cedar back from structures and drives reduces windfall risk and pest pressure at the same time, and it gives the oaks room to build better structure.
Wells and septic systems near root zones complicate work that would be simple elsewhere. Heavy equipment cannot cross a drain field, stumps near a well call for grinding decisions rather than pulling, and a removal over a septic tank needs rigging that keeps big wood from ever hitting the ground hard. We plan around your systems and put that plan in the estimate.
