Siberian elm on older lots draws elm leaf beetle, and cypress bark beetles attack stressed Arizona cypress planted for screening. After a big storm, leaning trees near a channel deserve a look before the next one. An arborist looks at where a tree stands relative to the river and the washes, not just at the canopy, before planning the work.
